Nursery and mapping, from seedling to boundary

Semaian Rimba Forestry supports ecological restoration with two working capabilities: propagating forest species in a live nursery, and documenting restoration and conservation land through spatial survey and mapping.

Each service is planned around the site it serves, from regional microclimate and soil profile to the final plot boundary and monitoring record.

Forest tree nursery

Propagation from seed to dispatch

Seed preparation, potting media mixed for local soil profiles, and a hardening phase before stock leaves the nursery. Native pioneer, climax, and multi-purpose species are grown to match the planting site.

Dispatch is scheduled against planting windows so saplings arrive healthy and ready for their site.

Spatial mapping

Mapping restoration and conservation areas

Baseline land surveys

Field survey records the current condition of the land before any restoration work begins.

Boundary setting

GIS boundary documentation defines restoration plots and conservation zones with clear, shareable limits.

Progress monitoring

Repeat mapping tracks how planted and protected areas change over time against the original baseline.
